Cookie Policy

Which cookies and browser storage Tiny Desk AI uses, why they are needed for sign-in and language choice, and how you can control or block them.

Short version

Reading the site does not set tracking or advertising cookies. The only cookies and browser storage we use are the ones needed to keep you signed in and to remember basic display choices, such as your language.

What we use

ItemPurposeWhen it is set
Session cookieKeeps you signed in to your accountOnly after you sign in
Security tokensProtect sign-in forms from forgeryWhen you use those forms
Language preferenceRemembers the language you choseWhen you switch language
Local display settingsRemember small interface choices on your deviceWhen you change a setting

Analytics

Analytics only runs if it is switched on in the site settings. The cookieless Plausible option measures visits without cookies and without storing personal data on your device; if we ever enable another analytics tool, including Google Analytics, we will name it here and explain what it stores.

Third parties

If you choose to sign in with Google, Google may set its own cookies on its own pages and in its sign-in widget, under Google's policies. When you pay, the payment provider shown at checkout may set its own cookies on its checkout pages, under its own policies.

Your controls

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the session cookie means you will not be able to stay signed in, and signing in is required to generate videos, but you can still read every guide. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data more broadly.
