About Tiny Desk AI
Tiny Desk AI turns one to five photos into a 15-second AI desk concert video. What each video includes, who the tool is for, what it will not make, and how to reach us.
A small tool for one specific video
Tiny Desk AI turns one to five uploaded photos into a short AI "desk concert" video. The people or the cat in your photos become the lead singer, backup vocalists and a band member behind a cluttered office desk, with a small band around them, a generated original song and generated sound. You pick one of 7 templates, each built around a real example video, and the tool builds the clip from your photos.
You can start on the home page: upload a photo, tick the confirmation box, choose a template and press Generate. Signing in with Google or email is required before a video is made.
What you get
Each generation produces one video: 15 seconds long, 720p, in 9:16 or 16:9, with generated audio, downloadable as an MP4. One video costs one credit. Generation typically takes a few minutes, though we cannot guarantee a time. A failed generation returns its credit automatically. Finished videos are kept in My videos, where you can also delete them. The pricing page lists the three one-time credit packs: Single Take, Encore Pack and Full Set. Nothing renews and credits do not expire.

Independent, and not affiliated
Tiny Desk AI is an independent web tool. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by NPR, Tiny Desk Concerts or any artist. "Tiny Desk" is used only to describe the style of video the tool makes. The songs are generated originals, and the tool does not accept requests for existing songs, lyrics or copyrighted characters.
Who it is for
The tool is for adults. Photos of children cannot be used, and a checkbox at upload asks you to confirm that you are 18 or older, that the photo is not of a child and that you have the right to use it. Do not upload photos of celebrities, public figures or other people without their permission. If you post a clip, label it as AI-generated.
